This publication is an experiment on visualising an article by Nicholas Carr 'Is Google Making Us Stupid?'. The article is investigating reasons behind the struggle of reading long-form texts, and analysing how electronic methods of communication are connected to that problem. While reading the article, I noticed a controversy. According to the author, when the content online is being 'injected' with hyperlinks, it contributes to the disruption of our attention and concentration. At the same time, the article itself was heavily loaded with links to different sources and in this way became a paradox in itself. In a way, it is a perfect example of a problem that it was talking about. The publication 'I Skim It' is a typographical experiment in visualizing the struggle of reading online. The enlarged text refers to the short attention span, and a stack of bookmarks (scrapped information from each of the hyperlinks) points to the interruptions and endless, dynamic flow of information.
